Tight-knit community boxing clever

First & Last Brewery, based at Elsdon, Northumberland, has created the Northumberland Breweries Beer Box, featuring some of the region’s best craft beers, to help support the local microbrewery community in these crisis times.

Sam Kellie, First & Last co-owner (pictured), said: “We wanted to make the box to raise the profile of Northumberland brewers. We have always been community focused, producing beers that give back, including our Ratty Pale Ale, which is in collaboration with Northumberland Wildlife Trust.

“The brewery industry is really tight-knit; we all share the same passions and philosophies as small Northumberland independent businesses, so we wanted to pull together to support craft beer. We also wanted to help other breweries, who don’t necessarily have a route to market. We were lucky as we already had a webshop.”

The breweries included in the beer boxes are (subject to change and availability): Allendale, Alnwick, Bear Claw, Brewis Beer Co, Cheviot, First@& Last, Credence, Grounding Angels, Muckle, Rigg & Furrow and Twice Brewed.
If you have a particular Beer Box request – if for example, you prefer pale ales, or dark beers, etc – you can add this info via the “notes” section when you reach the checkout stage.

Northumberland Breweries Beer Boxes are available with free delivery NE19, NE45-46, NE48 and NE65-66. UK-wide delivery options are available, too.
