Craft Beer Calling, Wylam Brewery’s progressive beer festival, was yet another huge success for the thousands of visitors who flocked to the three-day event at The Palace of Arts, Exhibition Park, Newcastle.

Brewers from all over the country, plus several from the region served up beer from straightforward IPA to complex chocolate stout to a soundtrack of Freddie Mercury and The Cars, among countless others. We were promised an assembly of the world’s leading craft breweries, a street food market, gin palace, wine cellar and cider bar – and we got it Big Style.
